Pastor Kenneth Kwong shepherds our Chinatown Cantonese 3rd Service Congregation and oversees the Cantonese-speaking youth and young adult ministries in our Chinatown campus.
Pastor Kenneth was born in Hong Kong and came to Boston in 1983 and was baptized there in 1984 at BCEC. After receiving his B.A. degree from Queens College and M.S. degree in instructional media production from New York Institute of Technology, God called him into full-time ministry. Pastor Kenneth went to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts received his degree in Master for Divinity. At the same time, he started serving at BCEC as a youth fellowship counselor. In 1995, he graduated from the seminary and was offered an intern position at BCEC. He was ordained and installed as Assistant Pastor in September 2003.
Pastor Kenneth is married to Carmen and they have a son Ethan (King-Lam, meaning “constantly wait for the return of the Lord”); and a daughter Rina (Joan-Lam, meaning “praise the Lord for His return”).
