1979年波士頓華人佈道會搬進在夏里臣街249號新落成的教堂，譚雅各牧師退休，由馮雅各牧師出任主任牧師。
四十年後的今天(2019年)，我們教會面對多項重要決定：（1）我們要察驗何為神的心意，是否出售249樓宇，讓市政府可以興建新學校。（2）我們要思想神的帶領，在華埠和牛頓的事工未來的方向。（3）我們需要神的幫助，來決定誰出任新的主任牧師。
所有這些決定都會影響我們的未來， 盼望我們教會能合一向主禱告，祈求祂的帶領和引導。每星期禱告事項。

Church’s Annual Meeting will be held at the Josiah Quincy Elementary School Auditorium (885 Washington St. in Chinatown) on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2pm-4pm. All members should plan to fulfill their duty to attend this important meeting. We will be voting for new deacons, approving the budget for next year, and approving the promotion of Minister Barry Lam to be Assistant Pastor.
