Calvin Chu is the Director of Student Ministries of the Chinatown English congregation. He has been attending BCEC since 1996 and joined the staff in Aug of 2013 after graduating with an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2012. Calvin came to the Lord in 1995. He was baptized in 2001 and it was at that service he felt his first call to ministry. Ignoring that call, Calvin went to Worcester Polytechnic Institute. After graduating in 2006, Calvin worked a number of jobs while serving in the Chinatown English college ministry. In 2009, he finally answered God’s call and decided to attend GCTS in order to pursue working in full-time ministry. He continued to serve in college ministry until he was hired as full-time staff. At that point, he continued serving college ministry and started serving the youth ministry as well. Desiring more depth in ministry and made possible by the generosity and flexibility of the staff, he began focusing on youth ministry in 2015. Sensing a growing need in the young adult population, he started The Table in 2017.
He is married to Lindsey and they are parents to their two sons, Miles, and Silas.

他已婚，妻子Lindsey，育有兩子，Miles和Silas。
